About Disconnected XBRL
You can apply XBRL to links or text in next generation Wdesk. The XBRL data becomes disconnected when you remove the links or when you delete the text it’s applied to. This often happens when you cut and paste content while working through your document. However, you can easily reconnect it to another fact or delete it if you no longer need the disconnected XBRL.
Resolving Disconnected XBRL
When XBRL data has become disconnected, you can either reconnect the XBRL to a new fact or delete it.
To resolve disconnected XBRL:
Go to the Disconnected XBRL panel on the left. The list of disconnected data updates automatically each time you open the panel.
Select either a newly created fact or an existing fact without XBRL and click the Reconnect icon next to the disconnected XBRL you want to reconnect. This acts like a cut and paste, where the disconnected XBRL has been cut from the link and reconnecting it pastes it to the selected location.
Click the delete icon if you do not need the disconnected XBRL.
Click the Refresh icon to update the list of disconnected XBRL and clear the disconnected XBRL that you resolved.
