Adding an XBRL Outline

next generation

You can import an entire XBRL outline into your document or create a new one by adding one section at a time.

Importing an XBRL Outline

Before importing, you must have a ZIP file that contains generated XBRL. The import includes preferred labels and XBRL calculations for that outline.

To import an XBRL outline:

  1. Open the document and make sure XBRL is on.

  2. Select an XBRL Profile for the document if one is not already selected.

  3. Go to the XBRL Outline tab on the left.

  4. Click the Import XBRL Outline icon on the XBRL Outline toolbar.
