Why We Have Browser Requirements

Up-to-date browsers provide a better user experience. More specifically, it offers these benefits:

Security

Using an up-to-date browser is the best way to protect yourself and your company from online threats. Outdated browsers often stop providing upgrades that are necessary to keep them secure. This change will align Workiva's browser requirements with the Microsoft Lifecycle Support policy for Internet Explorer. If you'd like more information about Microsoft's policy, please follow this link.

Speed

Up-to-date browsers reduce loading time, which will create increased efficiency for you. In some cases, this can cut your load time in half.

Innovation

Not having to focus development effort on functionality in older browsers gives us more time to innovate for the future, resulting in a better application for you.

Notify your IT department if they are responsible for updates, and feel free to direct them to this page.

If you have further questions, please reach out to your CSM or Account Representative.
