Managing SSO Bypass Users

Basics of Bypass Users

If needed, you can designate specific users to allow them to sign in without using SSO. This is helpful when you need to provide access to Wdesk to people in different departments, consultants, or those outside your company.

Those added as bypass users can sign in using their username and password. You can add and remove users from the bypass list as needed. All other sign-in and password settings are still enforced for bypass users.

Adding Bypass Users

To add a bypass user:

In Organization Admin, click Security.

Click Single Sign-on.

Click Bypass Users. Bypass Users

In the box, enter the username for the person. Find Person

Click the Add + button. Add Bypass User

To add more users follow the steps above for each person you’d like to add.

Removing Bypass Users

To remove a bypass user:

In Organization Admin, click Security.

Click Single Sign-on.

Click Bypass Users.

Find the person you'd like to remove, then hover your cursor on them and click the X. Remove User

Click Remove to confirm you’d like to remove them. Confirm to Remove
