NOTE: This article covers the iOS version of Wdesk Mobile. Wdesk Mobile currently runs on iOS versions 9 and 10.
If you need to view or comment on Wdesk documents while away from your computer, you can do so using the Wdesk Mobile application. This application allows you to view and comment on your Wdesk files, manage tasks, and sign Certifications from a compatible Android or iOS device.
Find the Android version in the Google Play store, or the Apple version (iPhone 4 or newer, or an iPad) in the Apple app store.
Wdesk Mobile is not currently compatible with Windows phones or Blackberries.
You will need to do an initial login and password on your device using your Wdesk credentials or Single Sign-On (SSO). In addition, you must set a security passcode on your mobile device that will allow for easy access with a four-digit code.
Using the Settings Menu
Once you are logged in, you can access the Settings menu, which you can use to personalize and configure Wdesk Mobile. Tap the options menu in the upper left-hand corner, then the gear-shaped Settings menu icon in the lower left-hand corner.
From here you can change or reset (if you've forgotten it) your passcode, choose how long for your device to wait before locking the screen, change accounts, configure alerts or notifications, and sign out.
You can also connect Wdesk Mobile to your LinkedIn account from here, which will use your photo for an avatar in commenting and can be used for other tasks.
Ending a Session
You can end a Wdesk Mobile session by either pressing the Home button on your device and leaving the app entirely, or by tapping the lock icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Settings menu. Type your 4-digit passcode to return to the document.
