You can insert custom content in headers and footers to display identifying information for your entire document or a specific section.

Table Rows in Headers and Footers

If you need to include multiple types of information in your header or footer, you can use a single table row with three columns.

To insert a table row in a header or footer:

Click in the header or footer region.

From the Edit toolbar, click the Insert button.

Select Table from the drop-down menu.

Once the table row appears, you can type into each column and format the text as desired.

Hyperlinks in Headers and Footers

You can also use headers and footers to insert a hyperlink that connects one page to another section of your document.

To insert a hyperlink in a header or footer:

Double-click in the header or footer region.

Enter your desired text, then select the text.

Right-click to access the drop-down menu and choose Insert Hyperlink

Click the Section radio button.

Use the drop-down list to find and select a section to link to. The list contains a document tree similar to the Document Outline panel.

Click the Create button to insert the hyperlink.

Images in Headers and Footers

To insert an image in a header or footer:

Click in the header or footer region.

From the Edit toolbar, click Insert .

Select Image from the drop-down menu.

Select the image and choose Open.

You can align the image left , center , or right using the alignment icons in the Edit toolbar.
